Sisterhood

The bonds between members are what make Alpha Sigma Tau thrive. The connections formed during one's collegiate involvement last a lifetime and unite a network of alumnae around the globe. The memories made and friendships formed are an invaluable part of what makes Alpha Sigma Tau so special.

We chose to use the terms siblings and siblinghood this past semester because we strive to be welcoming of all identities and want every member to feel comfortable being themselves. Regular siblinghood events, which are fun activities that develop friendships, are an important part of creating the supportive and trusting atmosphere that Delta Nu nurtures. Each semester, the members of Delta Nu leave the stress of campus for a Retreat, playing games, crafting, and learning about one another. In a recent semester, the Chapter went to a local pumpkin patch and spent the day navigating the corn maze and snuggling in the petting zoo. This past semester we had a siblinghood event called Improm, where members got to dress up in prom-like attire and play improv games. It was very fun and we have several comedic members! The sense of belonging that the organization offers its members is an incredible feeling. In so many ways, the Delta Nu Chapter is truly a family.
